The Fat Boar is an independently owned and run pub and restaurant in Mold, North Wales.

We opened in 2015 after spending months gutting the old pub and creating a new venue which is contemporary, welcoming and somewhere that we hope you will want to spend a lot of time with family and friends.

We’ve got delicious food, with a large menu featuring lots of fresh, locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. It seems like everyone says that these days, but the difference is that ours is really good.

We have an excellent selection of ales and wines, with something to enjoy whether you’re a connoisseur or just in need of a cold glass of something after a long day.

We provide service which can’t be rivalled or beaten. That’s a big claim, but one we intend to live up to.

And sometimes there will be a dusting of live music. If you’re a local musician and would be interested in playing then please get in touch.
